Chad D. Olsen is a litigation partner with significant business and appellate experience. Chad works extensively to resolve employment disputes, contractual breaches, complex construction claims, and insurance recovery matters.

Chad represents small, large, and national businesses including residential developers and contractors, hospitality companies, financial institutions, retail chains, marketing firms, transportation providers, software developers, and tourism companies—just to name a few. Through litigation and strategic planning, Chad has eliminated millions of dollars in potential liability for his clients. He has also recovered millions of dollars for these same clients. Simply put, clients not only retain Chad to resolve disputes, but also to prevent them.

As part of his practice, Chad is often asked to publish articles and speak on various legal issues and cutting-edge developments. Recent subjects include employment trends, insurance obligations and policyholder’s rights, arbitration, employment policies and agreements, and legislative updates.

During law school, Chad served as a Lead Note & Comment Editor on BYU’s Law Review and volunteered as a court appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children. He also interned for the Honorable Kent J. Dawson in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, a constitutional litigation firm in Washington, D.C., and a business and criminal law firm in New Zealand.
